Many parents have moral concerns about immunizing their children with viral vaccines derived from aborted fetal tissue. Parents are torn – they see immunization as a form of cooperation with the immoral act of abortion yet they want to protect their children from developing serious illnesses. LifeCanada seeks to help parents identify and promote ethical alternatives so that they can, in good conscience, provide this protection for their children.
It is our hope that the information provided below will assist parents in gaining a better understanding of how viral vaccines are developed and used as well as provide an educational tool so parents can write to their provincial health authorities to request ethical alternatives. This information should also be used to educate physicians and public health nurses.
