I am writing to invite you to join us as a Partner for Life—a new initiative by LifeCanada.

LifeCanada is a national educational pro-life organization which works with provincial and local groups right across the country. Our goal is to educate Canadians about life issues and to promote respect for all human life from conception to natural death.

Over the past three years we have commissioned national polls by well-respected Canadian pollsters on these issues:

•legal protection for the unborn
• true informed consent for women considering abortion
• parental consent for minors seeking abortion
• tax-funded abortion

The results show surprising public support for our positions and help us to determine strategies for our educational work.

We also publish an excellent newsletter six times a year. LifeCanada News has:

• circulated detailed national abortion statistics rarely covered by mainstream media
• exposed the lucrative contract awarded to Planned Parenthood by Health Canada to provide biased information to Canadian women through the Canadian Health Network
• uncovered unreported statistics on the cost and extent of late-term abortions in Canada

In May we ran a full page ad in the National Post to educate Canadians about the number of abortions and included the legal, political and health implications of tax-funded abortions. More than 2,000 Canadians responded to the ad and responses are still coming in. Tens of thousands more certainly would have seen the ad and heard for the first time this factual information on abortion.

Our educational work is crucial to the pro-life movement in Canada. It requires a solid financial foundation. We are a relatively new organization and are looking for ways to build that foundation.

Our Partners for Life program is one way to do that. We are actively seeking sponsors/advertisers for our newly-designed website (www.lifecanada.org) and for our bi-monthly newsletter. We do not have a charitable tax number yet but these ads can certainly be a business expense as you promote your business to our supporters.

Our rates for this project are reasonable. A business card ad in LifeCanada News will cost $125 per issue or $600 for the full year. Your sponsorship ad on our website will be posted for a year for a cost of $500. We see this as a great opportunity to build a pro-life network across the country and help to secure LifeCanada’s financial base.
