Going the distance, together for Life

"If you want to go fast, go by yourself - if you want to go far, go together! "

In the last few weeks I have been gently and not so gently challenged about the purpose of LifeCanada-VieCanada. This made me go back to July 1999 in my mind and the responses that the Steering Committee received from educational groups across Canada. Overwhelmingly, you answered Yes! we need a national, educational organization; we need a national, informative newsletter; we need an annual, national conference; we need a national voice; and we need to network more effectively at all levels.

Well in just over two years, we have made great inroads, but there are still many new directions to take. However, one thing I know for sure is that LifeCanada-VieCanada is absolutely essential to our pro-life efforts because without it our local, regional, and provincial groups have no voice at the federal level.

I ask for your patience - because we wish to go far and that means going together with others, which necessitates building and maintaining partnerships. LifeCanada-VieCanada will be your voice at the national level. Give us your support and we will continue to inform the public, motivate our member groups, and challenge our government and society to respect each and every human life.
